Silent Hill: Townfall, the next chapter in the iconic psychological horror series, will launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, publishers Konami and Annapurna Interactive, and developer Screen Burn Interactive announced.

The game places players in the shoes of Simon Ordell, who is called back to the fog-shrouded island of St. Amelia to “put things right”. Beneath a heavy, persistent fog, the town appears abandoned yet teems with unseen threats. Armed with little more than his clothes, an IV bag, and a medical wristband bearing his name, Simon must navigate the deserted streets guided only by the mysterious voices emanating from a CRTV, a portable television that tunes into unstable signals.
Set in a cold and isolated Scottish landscape, Silent Hill: Townfall offers a full-length, self-contained psychological horror experience that expands upon the series’ signature themes of mystery, tragedy, and loss. Players will explore in first-person, uncover fragments of a dark past, and confront escalating threats in tense evasion and frenetic combat scenarios. Narrative-driven puzzles and environmental storytelling challenge players to interpret the island’s haunting secrets, while the immersive setting reacts to player actions, creating a living, breathing world of dread and suspense.
Today’s debuted trailer gives fans the first detailed look at the game’s atmosphere, setting, and chilling storytelling, and the title is now available to wishlist ahead of its 2026 launch. Silent Hill: Townfall continues the franchise’s tradition of psychological horror while introducing new tools, tense encounters, and a richly detailed world designed to keep players on edge from start to finish.
