DaRmaZat Action-adventure Kena: Scars of Kosmora is set to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Ember Lab are returning to the world of Kena: Bridge of Spirits with a new chapter that follows a more seasoned Spirit Guide. In Kena: Scars of Kosmora, Kena journeys to the mysterious island of Kosmora in search of answers about the lifelong affliction that has shaped her destiny. The island is home to distinct cultures and regions, each hiding the remnants of a tragic past waiting to be uncovered.
Early in her journey, Kena faces a powerful spirit that shatters her staff, the very symbol of a Spirit Guide’s identity and the source of her strength. To survive, she must embrace an ancient and forgotten form of Spirit Guiding rooted in Alchemy, harnessing elemental forces in new and unpredictable ways.
Elemental spirit companions play a central role in this sequel. These evolving allies grow alongside Kena, unlocking new abilities as their bond deepens. Each spirit embodies a different element and connects to others scattered throughout the world, expanding both exploration and combat possibilities.
Combat has been reworked to reflect Kena’s growth, introducing elemental infusions, new skills, and more strategic encounters. Players will still face corrupted souls in need of cleansing, but battles promise greater depth and more demanding boss encounters. Ember Lab emphasizes a stronger focus on tightly designed regions, deliberate progression, and a heartfelt narrative crafted for both returning fans and newcomers.
