DaRmaZat Post-apocalyptic action RPG Beast of Reincarnation will launch on August 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam & Microsoft Store, publisher Fictions and developer Game Freak announced. The game will also be available via Game Pass, and physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will release alongside the digital version.
Set in a devastated vision of Japan, Beast of Reincarnation follows Emma, an outcast rejected by society because of a mysterious affliction, and Koo, a blighted dog who stands as her only companion. Together they traverse a harsh yet hauntingly beautiful world where remnants of civilization lie buried beneath encroaching wilderness and sudden bursts of life break through the wasteland.
Described as a “one-person, one-dog action RPG,” the game centers on the evolving bond between its two protagonists. As Emma and Koo journey across this impermanent landscape, their connection deepens, unlocking new abilities and strengthening their chances of survival. The experience balances solitude with companionship, emphasizing both the isolation of a broken world and the comfort found in trust and loyalty.
Throughout their expedition across blight-ravaged terrain, players will confront the mysteries lingering at the edge of extinction, shaping a path forward in a land where humanity’s future hangs in the balance.
