DaRmaZat The third-person action-adventure game GANG of DRAGON has been officially announced for PC via Steam. The project is developed by Nagoshi Studio, led by Yakuza series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi. Additional platforms have not yet been confirmed.
Set in the neon-drenched streets of Kabukicho in Shinjuku, Tokyo, GANG of DRAGON focuses on a grounded, contemporary crime drama rooted in real locations and lived-in urban spaces. Players step into the role of Shin Ji-seong, a high-ranking member of a Korean crime syndicate, portrayed by acclaimed actor Ma Dong-seok, also known as Don Lee. The game aims to depict the lives of outlaws navigating loyalty, power, and survival within one of Tokyo’s most infamous districts.
Gameplay centers on brutal, close-quarters combat that highlights Shin’s overwhelming physical presence, blending bone-crunching hand-to-hand encounters with the use of swords, firearms, and a wide range of combat techniques. Beyond brawling, players will also tear through Shinjuku’s crowded streets in high-speed car chases, adding momentum and spectacle to the experience. The overall direction and narrative are overseen by Toshihiro Nagoshi himself, with a strong emphasis on character-driven storytelling and human drama.
While only a teaser has been shown so far, Nagoshi Studio describes it as a small glimpse of a much larger vision. More details, including expanded gameplay and potential additional platforms, are expected to be revealed in the future as development progresses.
