Dark Action Game MOOSA: Dirty Fate Announced for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, Set in a Brutal 17th Century Korea

Developer and publisher Studio IGGYMOB has announced MOOSA: Dirty Fate, a dark action game set in 17th century Korea, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store in 2027. The game will also be available on Game Pass at launch.

Set during the harsh realities of the Joseon era, a time marked by famine, disease, and societal collapse, MOOSA: Dirty Fate places players in a world pushed to the brink. You play as Gunn, a warrior driven by vengeance after losing everything, navigating a land where corruption thrives and survival is never guaranteed. As chaos spreads, players will confront both human enemies and supernatural threats while uncovering the mystery surrounding the legendary Imugi.

The game emphasizes a grounded yet brutal depiction of its historical setting, with diverse regions ranging from once-thriving cities to famine-stricken slums and desolate landscapes. These environments are deeply tied to the era’s suffering, shaping both the narrative and gameplay encounters.

Combat combines large-scale battles against hordes, intense duels against skilled warriors, and boss fights inspired by Korean folklore. Players wield both sword and bow, with the latter offering a more tactical layer that distinguishes the combat system.
