It is not part of the franchise, however.
Developer Rebellion Developments has announced Alien Deathstorm, a first-person action horror game set to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The game will also be available on Game Pass at release.

Alien Deathstorm takes place on a remote off-world colony that has gone silent following a catastrophic event. Players step into the role of a Combat Engineer, a specialized first responder sent ahead of a rescue fleet to investigate the situation and attempt to save any remaining survivors.
Upon arrival, the colony is already being torn apart by a massive, destructive storm, with alien creatures roaming the collapsing environment. What begins as a rescue operation quickly escalates into a desperate fight for survival, as players must navigate hazardous conditions, uncover what happened to the colony, and face increasingly dangerous threats.
The game emphasizes a raw and intense first-person experience, combining environmental destruction with constant pressure from both the storm and hostile alien entities. While Alien Deathstorm clearly draws inspiration from classic sci-fi horror themes and aesthetics, it is a standalone property and not connected to the Alien franchise.
