Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege is set to launch on April 20, 2026, for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, bringing a fast-paced, retro-inspired action experience to modern platforms.

Developed by Lillymo Games, the team behind Habroxia, Twin Breaker, and Super Perils of Baking, the game leans heavily into classic Castlevania-style design, combining tight, punishing combat with a distinct 8-bit gothic aesthetic. Players can expect responsive hack-and-slash gameplay, supported by a chiptune soundtrack and stylized pixel visuals that emphasize its retro roots.
The game features 21 handcrafted stages packed with environmental hazards, hidden secrets, and escalating challenges. Across the journey, players will face seven major boss encounters, each designed to test timing, positioning, and pattern recognition. Progression is further supported by unlockable abilities and power-ups, alongside multiple endings that encourage replayability.
In addition to its single-player mode, Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege includes a two-player local co-op option, complete with friendly fire, adding an extra layer of chaos and coordination to the experience.
A playable demo is currently available on Steam, offering an early look at its combat and level design ahead of release. The game will be priced at $9.99 USD (or regional equivalent) at launch.
