Project Vesperi, the cinematic branching narrative sci-fi game from Last Praetorian Interactive, will launch on April 24, 2026 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The announcement was accompanied by a new release date trailer.

The story places players in the role of Doctor Evelyn Roth, an astrobiologist working for the Unified Nations of Earth (UNE). In the year 2083, Earth’s resources have dwindled, leading humanity to search the solar system for signs of life. Evelyn is sent to Venus, where abandoned terraforming experiments created a small habitable zone now home to Geyser Canyon Station. While investigating a potential discovery linked to alien life, the situation escalates when an intruder threatens the station. From that moment onward, the player’s decisions begin to shape the fate of the crew—and potentially the future of humanity itself.
Project Vesperi centers on a cinematic branching narrative, offering a movie-length experience designed for multiple playthroughs. Player decisions influence relationships, determine character survival, and unlock different narrative paths, with more than ten possible endings depending on the choices made throughout the story. Exploration also plays an important role, allowing players to investigate the station and surrounding environments to uncover additional information, dialogue options, and alternate story outcomes.
Originally developed as a student thesis project, Project Vesperi has since evolved into the debut indie release from Last Praetorian Interactive. Following player feedback from its earlier demo, the team expanded and refined the experience into a full commercial release while continuing to support the original student demo as a showcase of the project’s origins.
