DaRmaZat Rayman, the classic platformer originally released in 1995, returns today with Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, now available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam and Ubisoft Connect.
Developed by Digital Eclipse in collaboration with Ubisoft Montpellier, this anniversary release celebrates three decades of the iconic franchise with a comprehensive collection of five classic versions of the game, including the PlayStation 1, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color editions. Players revisit the magical world of Rayman, exploring familiar locations such as the Dream Forest and the music-driven Band Lands while rescuing Electoons and stopping Mr. Dark.
The edition preserves the original platforming experience while expanding it with previously unreleased content and modern enhancements. Additions include a playable SNES prototype never made public before, 120 extra levels drawn from bonus level packs, a newly re-composed soundtrack by original composer Christophe Héral, and optional quality-of-life features such as a rewind function, infinite lives, and invincibility.
Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition also includes an exclusive interactive documentary. Spanning more than 50 minutes, it features new interviews with the original development team, alongside unseen concept art, early sketches, and design documents that chronicle the creation and evolution of the franchise’s limbless hero.
