Brigandine: Abyss, the fantasy war strategy RPG from Happinet Corporation, is set to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with NIS America handling publishing duties in the west.

The newly announced entry introduces a completely original world designed to welcome both longtime fans and newcomers. Set centuries after the fall of the original Abyssloa Empire, the story follows the rise of a new imperial force seeking to conquer the continent once more. Players are tasked with managing resources, commanding armies, and rallying powerful monsters across six distinct story-driven campaigns.
Alongside its narrative-focused modes, Brigandine: Abyss also features a Mission Mode that offers a more traditional series experience. In this mode, players can choose from 24 different factions, each with unique objectives and victory conditions, offering extensive replayability and a wide range of strategic challenges.
Brigandine: Abyss‘ gameplay unfolds across two interconnected phases. During the Organization phase, players manage units, resources, and army development. The Attack phase then shifts the focus to tactical combat on the series’ signature hex-based battlefields. Success depends on careful consideration of skills, elemental affinities, and long-term army progression.
