Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Heads to PC With Enhanced Features on March 19

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the cinematic action-adventure sequel from Kojima Productions, launches on March 19, 2026 for PC via Steam & Epic Games Store.

Originally released for PlayStation 5 on June 26, the sequel now expands to PC with a range of technical upgrades and platform-specific enhancements developed in collaboration with Nixxes Software. The PC version supports NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel upscaling technologies alongside Frame Generation and uncapped frame rates, offering greater performance flexibility depending on hardware configuration.

Ultrawide monitor support is included, featuring 21:9 ultra widescreen compatibility for gameplay and in-game cutscenes, as well as 32:9 super ultra widescreen on PC, all presented in 4K resolution where supported. Players can tailor their experience through full mouse and keyboard support or DualSense wireless controller integration, with 3D Audio options available via Dolby Access, DTS Sound Unbound, and Windows Sonic for Headphones.

In this standalone sequel, players once again step into the role of Sam Porter Bridges as he attempts to connect Australia to the Chiral Network. Hostile factions, environmental disasters such as earthquakes and sandstorms, and the ever-present Timefall stand in his way. The Social Strand System returns, allowing asynchronous interactions where players influence each other’s worlds through shared structures and indirect cooperation.

At launch, new modes and additional features will be available for both PC and PlayStation 5, introducing fresh challenges and rewards. Further details are set to be shared next month. PC players can also sign in with an account for PlayStation to access the PlayStation overlay, earn Trophies, manage friends lists, and unlock exclusive in-game cosmetic items inspired by the PlayStation brand.

Pre-purchasing grants early unlock bonuses including special holograms and silver variants of skeleton equipment sets, while the Digital Deluxe Edition adds further early unlock weapons, cosmetic patches, and gold equipment variants.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is currently only available on PlayStation 5 (FR_BE/NL_BE/NL_NL/US), now with the PC release set to follow soon.
