Netmarble and developer Netmarble Monster have announced that MONGIL: STAR DIVE will launch on April 15, 2026 for PC and mobile devices.

The action RPG will release on PC via the official launcher and the Epic Games Store, alongside versions for iOS and Android. Console versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S are planned for a later date. Pre-registration for the mobile version is already available through the App Store, Google Play, and the game’s official website.
MONGIL: STAR DIVE is the sequel to the 2013 mobile RPG Monster Taming. Built using Unreal Engine 5, the new installment aims to deliver cinematic storytelling, fast-paced combat, and a modernized gameplay experience. Combat revolves around a three-character tag battle system, allowing players to switch between characters mid-fight to chain abilities and adapt to enemy encounters. The game also features the Monsterling Collection system, which lets players capture, collect, and synthesize creatures that act as companions and enhance combat strategies.
Ahead of its release, the title has undergone multiple global closed beta tests to refine gameplay systems and stability. Netmarble has also showcased the game at international events including Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, while new gameplay footage and a developer commentary were recently presented during Game Developers Conference 2026.
