Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a new developer diary for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, offering a closer look at how the team is adapting the iconic horror franchise for its first video game adaptation.

The video features Doug Bradley, the legendary actor known for portraying Pinhead in the original films, discussing the creative process behind bringing the universe of Hellraiser to an interactive format.
According to the developers, the challenge was not the lack of source material but rather selecting the right elements from the franchise’s extensive lore across films, books, and comics. The goal was to capture the core themes that made the series memorable while crafting a new story that expands the universe.
The game follows a new narrative in which players must descend into a nightmarish realm to rescue a loved one from the Cenobites. Along the way, they will confront cultists, grotesque creatures, and the forces of Hell itself while wielding supernatural abilities tied to the Genesis Configuration puzzle box, a powerful artifact capable of bridging the human world with the Labyrinth.
Combining survival-horror action, supernatural powers, and story-driven gameplay, the developers aim to deliver an experience that reflects the franchise’s signature blend of terror, temptation, and otherworldly horror.
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is scheduled to launch later in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
