Publisher and developer ProbablyMonsters has revealed Crimson Moon, a gothic action adventure RPG set in a dark fantasy world of dead gods and violent angels. The title is scheduled to launch this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Players will take on the role of a Nephilim, a powerful half-human, half-angel hybrid forged to protect humanity from the encroaching forces of hell.

Set in the fallen city of Gildenarch, the gameplay features visceral, souls-inspired melee combat against hordes of vampires, demons, and undead abominations. As a Nephilim, players can unleash evolving angelic powers and devastating supernatural attacks to clear districts in high-risk, high-reward missions.
The world is designed to be hauntingly beautiful and reactive, reshaping itself throughout the campaign without forcing punishing repetition. Between runs, players can retreat to the Church headquarters to interact with NPCs, secure permanent upgrades, and plan their next strike via the War Table.
The experience offers both a solo crusade and an optional two-player cooperative mode. In co-op, allies can share lives, resurrect fallen teammates, and unlock unique combat synergies. Dynamic difficulty scaling ensures that the challenge remains fresh regardless of the party size.
With an emphasis on expressive combat and improvisational executions, the game aims to deliver a unique power fantasy centered on divine vengeance and the reclamation of a ruined civilization.
