Starsand Island, an Anime Farm and Life Simulator, Launches in Early Access on PC and Xbox

Starsand Island, the anime-inspired farm and life simulation game from Seed Sparkle Lab, launches today in Early Access on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, Xbox Series X|S via Xbox Preview, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Earlier this week, we also published our preview of this beautiful game!

Available now in both Standard and Deluxe Editions, the game invites players to leave behind urban chaos and embrace a slower, pastoral rhythm of life. Set on a vibrant island shaped by a dynamic four-season cycle, Starsand Island blends farming, ranching, fishing, crafting, and exploration within a living world designed to evolve over time. Seasonal changes influence daily routines, environmental conditions, and community events, encouraging players to adapt and settle into island life at their own pace.

At launch, players who purchase the Standard Edition receive the base game and all content updates released throughout the Early Access period. Those joining during the initial launch window also gain access to a Chinese New Year bonus pack featuring festive outfits inspired by traditional Chinese patterns and themed furniture reflecting classic decorative design. The Deluxe Edition expands on this foundation with Romanticism-inspired content, adding classical attire and fantasy-styled furnishings for deeper customization from the outset.

Beyond its agricultural systems, Starsand Island offers exploration opportunities across ancient ruins and resource-rich mining areas, as well as encounters with unusual creatures scattered throughout the countryside. Social interaction plays a central role, with distinct island residents offering personal storylines, relationship-building opportunities, and emotional character arcs that unfold over time. Extensive character customization, home building, cooking, fashion, and seasonal festivals further reinforce the game’s emphasis on self-expression and community life.

Seed Sparkle Lab positions Early Access as a collaborative development phase, aiming to refine mechanics and expand content in response to player feedback. The full launch is planned for summer 2026, when Starsand Island will release on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, alongside its complete launch on Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
