Space Tales, a sci-fi real-time strategy game, launches into Early Access on March 11, 2026 for PC via Steam, developer and publisher Saigon Dragon Studio has announced.

Originally announced for an early 2026 release, the studio has now confirmed that players will be able to jump in a month from now through an Early Access build featuring eight campaign missions and eight survival maps. Completing all available content is expected to take roughly 15 hours for those aiming to conquer every objective.
Set in a retro-futuristic universe shaped by humanity’s interplanetary expansion, Space Tales follows Xander Falcon, who unexpectedly inherits the mantle of hero after his father’s death. As commander of the I.P.E. army, players wage war against the alien Nexera while uncovering cosmic conspiracies that threaten the galaxy. Early Access unlocks all I.P.E. units and core gameplay systems from the outset, with progression tied to campaign advancement rather than feature gating.
At launch, players will face two enemy factions: the aggressive Nexera and the territorial Kill Bots. The gameplay emphasizes resource management, strategic positioning, reconnaissance, and adaptive tactics across hostile alien worlds. Survival maps complement the narrative-driven missions, offering replayable challenges that test command efficiency under pressure.
The Early Access period will serve as a collaborative development phase. Saigon Dragon Studio plans to expand the campaign to a total of 13 missions by full release, each paired with survival modes, and introduce a new enemy faction designed to push tactical depth even further. Full launch is currently targeted for late 2026. Importantly, save files from Early Access will seamlessly carry over to the final version.
According to the developer, this first in-house release represents a major milestone after more than a decade as an art outsource studio. Early Access feedback will directly influence balancing, bug fixes, and the design of the remaining missions, shaping Space Tales into what the team hopes will be a definitive modern RTS experience.
