Masters of Albion, the upcoming god game from 22cans and Peter Molyneux, launches in Early Access on April 22, 2026 at 18:00 BST for PC via Steam.

Ahead of its release, 22cans has unveiled the first full gameplay trailer, offering an extended six-minute look at the game in action. The footage presents a continuous 24-hour in-game cycle, demonstrating how construction, crafting, exploration, questing, and combat systems interconnect as players shape the fate of Albion.
The showcase highlights the core structure of the experience, where players oversee the growth of settlements by constructing buildings, designing equipment, and guiding inhabitants through evolving challenges. As day turns to night, the tone shifts from calm development to defensive conflict, requiring strategic preparation to withstand chaos after sunset.
According to Peter Molyneux, the trailer represents a moment where the various mechanics converge into what he describes as the defining qualities of a modern god game: power, creativity, and responsibility. The presentation also features the voice of Marc Silk, known for his work on Black & White and Fable, guiding viewers through a full day within Albion.
Drawing inspiration from Molyneux’s earlier genre-defining projects such as Dungeon Keeper, Black & White, and Fable, Masters of Albion aims to reinterpret classic god game design with contemporary systems and player-driven freedom. The game will be available exclusively via Steam Early Access starting April 22, 2026.
