DaRmaZat Action-adventure sandbox game Guardians of the Wild Sky from developer and publisher Blue Isle Studios will be playable during Steam Next Fest, with a public demo available on PC via Steam from February 23 through March 2, 2026.
As part of Steam Next Fest, the demo offers a substantial hands-on slice of the game’s core experience, placing exploration, creativity, and discovery at the forefront. Rather than limiting systems or mechanics, the demo allows players to leave the starting island, construct their own ship, and freely sail the skies in any direction they choose. This sense of freedom is central to the experience, capturing the moment of setting sail and uncovering new floating lands among the clouds.
Each demo playthrough is structured around an eight-hour time window per world, preserving the intended pacing while still allowing meaningful progress. Players can explore multiple islands, engage with quests, battle enemies, meet characters, and experiment with a wide range of building options, from functional bases to elaborate airborne structures. Once the time limit is reached, players can begin again with a fresh character and explore anew.
The demo opens up a significant portion of the world, encouraging players to experiment with different combat styles, progress their character, and interact with the game’s magical Guardians. These powerful companions play a key role in exploration and survival, reinforcing the game’s blend of crafting, building, and adventure across a vast cloud-filled world.
