Canadian developer Denis Morozov and fiction writer Milha Vek have announced Good Children Say Grace, a first-person psychological horror adventure set on a remote Soviet island in the 1980s. The game blends Eastern European family horror with dark romance and manga-inspired storytelling and is in development for PC, with an episodic release planned via Steam Early Access.

Set across three years of starvation, possession, and survival, Good Children Say Grace places players in a bleak domestic nightmare shaped by choice-driven storytelling. Dialogue decisions and player movement directly influence how events unfold, with small actions cascading into significantly different narrative outcomes.
Gameplay combines first-person and 2.5D exploration with branching narrative systems. The experience emphasizes psychological horror over combat, focusing on themes such as family bonds, hunger, loneliness, love, and moral decay. Multiple routes and endings are available depending on the player’s decisions throughout the story.
Good Children Say Grace will launch in Early Access with a free demo scheduled for March 2026, followed by Episode 1 in April 2026. Japanese localization is listed as a development priority. A release date for the full version has not yet been announced.
