Rhythm action game AUDIOMECH: your music transformed has been announced for PC via Steam, developer Dylan Fitterer has revealed. The project, which does not yet have a release date, turns any music playing on a player’s computer into the driving force behind its combat, visuals, and enemies.

Created by the developer behind Audiosurf, AUDIOMECH: your music transformed is built around real-time audio analysis. Any sound source works, whether it is streamed music, local files, or even live input through a microphone. The game interprets the audio on the fly, shaping both the battlefield and the threats players face, ensuring that no two sessions ever play the same.
Combat unfolds through a transformable mech with three distinct forms, each tied to different elements of the music. Low bass frequencies, vocal and lead melodies, and high treble tones all influence enemy behavior, attacks, and environmental effects. Players are encouraged to switch forms dynamically to counter music-driven hazards and strike back in rhythm with the soundtrack of their choice.
As tracks build toward climactic moments, the game triggers powerful surges that temporarily shift the flow of battle. These moments reward players with heightened power and momentum, reinforcing the connection between musical intensity and gameplay. Multiple modes are available, ranging from relaxed experiences focused purely on audiovisual flow to more demanding challenges that emphasize survival, upgrades, and boss encounters.
