FMV Thriller The Run Brings Terror to Mobile This Halloween, PC Follows Later This Year

PRM Games, together with Benacus Entertainment and RNF Productions, has announced The Run, the latest full-motion video horror-thriller from filmmaker and game creator Paul Raschid (The Complex, Five Dates, Ten Dates, The Gallery, Hello Stranger). The interactive film launches on October 28, 2025, for iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play, followed by a PC release later in the year through Steam.

Set on a remote trail along the dramatic landscapes of Lake Garda, Italy, The Run follows a fitness influencer whose routine morning jog spirals into a desperate fight for survival. Hunted by relentless killers, players must make rapid decisions that shape the outcome of the story in real time. With over three and a half hours of filmed content, multiple branching storylines, and twenty potential deaths, no two playthroughs are alike.

The cast features Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones, Strike Back) and George Blagden (Vikings, Versailles), alongside special appearances from horror legend Dario Argento and screen icon Franco Nero. The game is already making waves at international film festivals including Raindance London, Motelx Lisbon, Dinard, and Imagine Amsterdam, and will also receive a two-month theatrical run at Genesis Cinema in London.

According to Raschid, The Run aims to push interactive cinema beyond “B-movie” conventions by blending cinematic suspense with meaningful player choice. Featuring five distinct endings, both timed and paused decision options, and a sprawling story map, the project seeks to immerse players in a horror experience where their judgment directly determines survival.
