Grave Seasons, a narrative-driven farming simulation with horror elements, is set to release on August 14 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. A demo is also set to arrive ahead of launch.

Set in the seemingly peaceful town of Ashenridge, the game follows a fugitive attempting to rebuild a quiet life after escaping prison. That fragile sense of normalcy quickly unravels as a series of murders begins to plague the community, turning the rural setting into the backdrop for a darker mystery.
Daily life revolves around familiar farming simulation activities such as growing crops, fishing, mining, and participating in the local economy. These systems are closely tied to progression, as resources and interactions play a key role in uncovering clues and advancing the investigation.
Grave Seasons‘ narrative layer introduces a supernatural twist, with one of the town’s residents revealed to be a serial killer. Players must investigate the townsfolk, gather evidence, and make decisions that influence how events unfold. Relationships are central to this process, as building trust through quests can unlock new information, while choices may alter both alliances and outcomes.
Crafting and preparation also factor into survival, allowing players to create tools and items that can help prevent further deaths. With multiple narrative paths and the possibility of forming deeper connections—even with the killer—the story evolves based on player actions.
