Forever Ago, a third-person single-player road trip adventure game, is set to release this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.

The game follows Alfred as he deals with the aftermath of a personal tragedy, setting out on a journey north in search of meaning and redemption. Traveling in his minivan and equipped with an instant camera, the experience centers on reflection and discovery rather than traditional progression.
Exploration takes players across a variety of landscapes, from forests and deserts to mountainous regions, each offering its own atmosphere and narrative context. Interaction with the environment plays a key role, as examining objects helps uncover fragments of the world and the stories of those who came before.
The instant camera mechanic ties directly into both storytelling and gameplay, allowing moments to be captured while also serving as a tool for solving light environmental puzzles. These elements reinforce the game’s focus on memory, perspective, and personal interpretation.
Accompanied by an original soundtrack, the experience leans into emotional themes of loss, connection, and healing, shaping a more introspective journey driven by both player actions and the world itself.
