BrokenLore: FOLLOW, the psychological first-person horror game from Serafini Productions, will officially launch on June 1, 2026 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Serving as a prequel to BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW, the game expands the series’ universe, which explores the darker themes surrounding social media and personal identity.

In BrokenLore: FOLLOW, players take on the role of Anne, a young woman who awakens in her childhood home and begins experiencing disturbing manifestations of her past. As the story unfolds across multiple chapters, Anne revisits key locations tied to painful memories while attempting to confront the emotional scars left by bullying, family conflict, and struggles with self-worth.
Throughout her journey, Anne is relentlessly pursued by a mysterious entity that embodies the psychological pressure and negative thoughts that haunt her. The experience blends exploration and puzzle-solving with tense horror encounters as players uncover the events that shaped Anne’s past.
The narrative also addresses sensitive themes such as self-acceptance, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, and feelings of worthlessness, presenting them through surreal environments and metaphorical creatures that reflect Anne’s internal struggles. To help ensure the subject matter is handled responsibly, BrokenLore: FOLLOW was developed in collaboration with psychologist Emanuela Papa, aiming to portray these psychological themes with care and authenticity.
