Saber Interactive has announced the development of an untitled John Wick game, a high-budget third-person action title currently slated for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. While a specific release date has yet to be confirmed, the project marks a major collaboration between the developer, Lionsgate, and franchise director Chad Stahelski to bring the high-stakes world of the High Table to life.
The narrative for Untitled John Wick Game is set to feature an original story within the established timeline, taking place years before the legendary “Impossible Task” seen in the films. Players can expect to encounter familiar faces from the franchise alongside brand-new characters created specifically for this experience.
In a significant move for the production, Keanu Reeves is officially confirmed to reprise his iconic role, providing both his likeness and voice for the character. This marks the actor’s first major leading role in a video game since his performance in Cyberpunk 2077.
Gameplay will focus on the signature “gun-fu” combat style that defined the movies, blending precise firearms handling with intense hand-to-hand choreography. Saber Interactive aims to deliver a cinematic experience through jaw-dropping camerawork and immersive driving sequences, all set within atmospheric environments designed to make players feel like the Baba Yaga himself.
The project is being developed with a focus on mature audiences, ensuring the gritty and elegant action of the billion-dollar film franchise is authentically translated into a single-player interactive format.
