Capcom has confirmed that PRAGMATA will launch worldwide on April 24, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The newly announced Switch 2 version joins the previously revealed platforms, and a playable demo is available now on PC, with console demos set to follow.

The game will be offered in a standard $59.99 release and a $69.99 Deluxe Edition, the latter of which includes the Shelter Variety Pack. This add-on introduces alternate costumes for Hugh and Diana, a weapon skin, emotes for Diana, additional background tracks for the Shelter, and a digital art library featuring 75 pieces of concept work. Capcom is also preparing an official Diana amiibo figure.
PRAGMATA marks a new science-fiction IP for Capcom, blending third-person action with a cooperative dual-character structure built around hacking mechanics. Set on the moon in the near future, the story follows astronaut Hugh Williams after a catastrophic incident leaves him stranded and severely injured within a lunar research station. He is rescued by Diana, an android with childlike appearance and an array of high-utility technical functions, and the two form an interdependent partnership as they attempt to navigate an environment ruled by a hostile station AI.
The facility—eerily empty yet actively controlled—deploys automated Bots and large-scale constructs to eliminate intruders. Progress depends on combining Hugh’s mobility tools and weapon-focused combat with Diana’s system infiltration skills. During encounters, Diana can compromise enemy behavior or reveal vulnerabilities, allowing Hugh to capitalize with a growing arsenal that spans offensive weaponry, tactical gadgets, and defensive options such as shields and decoys. The hacking-and-shooting dynamic evolves across the campaign as the duo faces escalating threats.
Traversal within the station also hinges on cooperation. Hugh’s thrusters support rapid movement and precision hovering, while Diana’s interface capabilities enable puzzle-solving, system overrides, and access path creation. Outside of missions, players return to the Shelter—an upgrade hub where new equipment can be crafted, loadouts customized, and Diana’s abilities enhanced. The space also functions as a narrative touchpoint with character interactions and cosmetic unlocks before venturing back into the station’s increasingly hostile sectors.
