DaRmaZat Horror adventure game Incantation will release in March 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with a demo now available for Xbox Series via Microsoft Store. The game previously launched for PC via Steam in 2024.
Update – February 9, 2026: The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch versions of horror adventure game Incantation are now set to launch on April 8, publisher eastasiasoft and developer Softstar Entertainment have announced, pushing the release back from its previously targeted March window. A playable demo is currently available on Xbox Series, with a PlayStation 5 demo scheduled to go live on April 1.
Publisher eastasiasoft and developer Softstar Entertainment have confirmed that Incantation is coming to consoles in early 2026, introducing the horror experience to a wider audience following its original PC debut on Steam in November 2024. A playable demo has been released on Xbox Series as part of the Indie Selects Demo Fest, giving players an opportunity to explore its atmospheric setting ahead of launch.
The game follows Jia Jun Lee, a mother searching for her missing daughter in the eerie Chen Family Village. As she investigates the abandoned settlement, she uncovers traces of occult rituals, hidden documents, and disturbing events tied to a forbidden deity. The story is adapted from the live-action film of the same name and focuses on slow-burn tension, cultural folklore, and psychological dread.
Incantation‘s gameplay revolves around careful exploration, environmental puzzles, stealth, and ritual interactions. Players must stay hidden from supernatural threats while gathering items and unlocking new paths throughout the village. The console versions will also arrive alongside physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, including standard and limited releases available through Play-Asia.
