First-Person Bullet Hell Action Game Luna Abyss Launches in 2026 for Consoles and PC

Luna Abyss, the first-person bullet hell action adventure game, will launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, publisher Kwalee and developer Kwalee Labs announced.

Set within a colossal derelict megastructure buried beneath the surface of the mimic moon Luna, the game places players in the role of a prisoner sentenced to descend into the Abyss. Their mission is to recover long-forgotten technology swallowed by the depths and by the lost colony that once thrived there. All actions are monitored by Aylin, an artificial warden who oversees the prisoner’s every move.

The ruins that sprawl throughout the Abyss pulse with centuries-old echoes, hinting at the grim history of Greymont and the calamity that consumed it. The Scourge, the dogma of the All-Father, and the haunting voices of the Collective all converge into an unsettling chorus that calls the player further downward. Their whispers suggest an ancient purpose—and a looming danger.

Players will explore the vast alien architecture of Luna through fast, fluid first-person traversal that includes sprinting, jumping, and dashing through immense chasms and towering brutalist environments. The descent is fraught with corrupted souls and cosmic horrors, demanding mastery of weapons, quick adaptation, and survival within relentless bullet-hell combat encounters. As the mysteries of the mimic moon unfold, players will uncover their connection to the colony’s downfall and the larger design that binds them to the heart of the Abyss.
