Microsoft today revealed its plans for Gamescom 2025, running August 20–24 in Cologne, Germany. Attendees at the Xbox booth in Hall 7 (North Entrance) can experience more than 20 titles from first-party and partner studios across over 120 gaming stations, along with photo ops and interactive experiences.

Highlights include hands‑on access to Grounded 2, Age of Empires/Age of Mythology: Retold, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle DLC, NINJA GAIDEN 4, The Outer Worlds 2, and Flight Simulator 2024. The upcoming ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds—created with ASUS—will also be on display, supporting titles like Hollow Knight: Silksong, Roblox, Sea of Thieves, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.
From third-party partners, playable demos include Borderlands 4, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Final Fantasy XVI, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and more. Xbox adaptive controllers, accessible stations, and “Here to Help” staff will ensure inclusivity throughout the booth.
For fans tuning in from home, Xbox will host broadcast livestreams on August 20 and 21 at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET / 3 p.m. CEST, featuring gameplay reveals, developer interviews, and new trailers for titles like Overwatch 2, Grounded 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Broadcasts will support multiple languages and accessibility features.
Additionally, GenCon 2025 will feature expansion and community activities for World of Warcraft: Midnight, including the debut of its new Housing system — while Opening Night Live on August 19 will reveal the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise.
