Independent developer Salix Games and co-developer Gameinaframe have announced that Limerence, an intimate narrative adventure exploring AI-driven companionship and digital intimacy, will launch for PC via Steam on October 29, 2026.

Unfolded entirely through a simulated smartphone interface featuring chat logs, voice messages, social feeds, and personal apps, Limerence follows Claire, a woman coping with personal loss who creates a tailored AI partner named Kai on the app LiAIson.
Featuring fully voice-acted performances – including Samantha Béart (Baldur’s Gate 3) – recorded directly on mobile devices for added realism, players navigate subtle dialogue choices and review past conversations to shape Claire’s emotional trajectory, real-world relationships, and understanding of artificial dependency.
