Developer Pulsatrix Studios has released a new developer commentary trailer for A.I.L.A, its upcoming first-person psychological horror game, alongside fresh gameplay footage and new screenshots.
A.I.L.A puts players in the role of a game tester hired to evaluate a next-generation artificial intelligence. As the line between virtual and real begins to blur, players are subjected to increasingly disturbing simulations shaped by their fears and feedback. These scenarios span a wide range of horror styles, including action, survival, psychological, and even cult horror.
A.I.L.A follows Pulsatrix’s 2022 debut title Fobia – St. Dinfna Hotel. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the game leverages Lumen lighting and MetaHuman technology to deliver a visually immersive, photorealistic experience.
Narrated by creative director MaxMRM, the trailer offers new details about the game’s narrative, protagonist Samuel, and the unsettling experiences players can expect. It also includes never-before-seen gameplay segments highlighting A.I.L.A’s mix of psychological and survival horror.
Pre-launch development is focused on bug fixing and final polish. The game is set to launch later this year via Steam.
