Penguin Colony, a Cosmic Horror Adventure Where You Play as a Penguin, Arrives on PC October 16

Developer ORIGAME DIGITAL and publisher Fellow Traveller have announced that Penguin Colony, a cosmic horror narrative game created by Umurangi Generation developer Tali Faulkner, will launch for PC on October 16, 2026.

Set in 1939 and inspired by classic survival horror titles of the PlayStation 2 era alongside Siren, H.P. Lovecraft’s At the Mountains of Madness, and John Carpenter’s The Thing, the title tasks players with controlling an Antarctic penguin observing two rival human factions – the Nazi expedition and the Kaitiaki – as they search for an ancient cosmic entity.

Narrated by Lenval Brown, the game has you observe the environment, track human expeditions across frozen landscapes, and watch the explorers slowly lose their grip.

Penguin Colony launches October 16, 2026, for PC via Steam.
