Cooperative shooter Phantom Line will run a new open playtest from March 3 to March 10 on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, developer Antistatic Studios has announced, alongside the release of a new trailer.

Set in a post-nuclear European warzone known as the Iron Corridor, Phantom Line casts players as elite Operators working for Mortfield Industries, a powerful megacorporation tasked with containing paranormal anomalies hidden from the public. Teams of up to four players investigate unstable regions, confront otherworldly threats leaking through space-time rifts, and secure volatile zones in an open-world environment shaped by dynamic events.
This latest playtest, moved forward from its previously communicated March 5 start date, introduces Mortfield’s expanded training facility for H.U.S.K. Operators, offering a structured space to test new systems and mechanics. Players will encounter newly discovered anomalies, additional enemy types, and fresh environmental challenges. The nuclear icebreaker now serves as a fully realized mobile base of operations, allowing for customization of cabins and husks, equipment modification, and mission briefings before deployment.
Antistatic Studios has significantly rebuilt the game since its earlier test phase. Core 3Cs—character, camera, and controls—have been overhauled with rewritten movement and interaction systems, new animations, and a refined camera framework. Advanced spatial audio, refreshed biomes, and dynamic weather further enhance immersion, while numerous bugs have been eliminated and networking stability tightened to improve cooperative performance.
Central to the experience is the H.U.S.K. Operator Simulation Program, enabling players to transfer consciousness between artificial bodies to scout, distract, or execute tactical maneuvers. Resource scarcity, environmental hazards, and escalating anomalous threats demand preparation and adaptability, reinforcing the game’s focus on strategic coordination.
The March 3 to 10 open playtest offers players a hands-on look at the reworked systems and evolving anomaly containment gameplay as development continues toward Early Access.
