Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series February 13, 2026
DaRmaZat Action RPG and life-simulation game Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will launch on February 13, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PlayStation 5 physical edition available. The game previously released for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam on June 5, 2025.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma brings players to the eastern lands of Azuma, a country devastated by the Celestial Collapse, where mountains crumbled, fields withered, and the gods of nature vanished. Players awaken as an Earth Dancer, gifted with mystical powers to purify the land and restore life to its villages.
The game blends classic Rune Factory action-RPG and life-simulation mechanics with new abilities, including combat with sacred treasures, farming, and village rebuilding. Players can choose from two protagonists whose destinies are intertwined and interact with seasonal-themed villages inspired by traditional Japanese culture.
Alongside combat and exploration, the game emphasizes relationships, romance, and alliances with villagers to aid in restoring the world from the Blight. Both digital and physical editions include additional content, such as seasonal outfits, DLC bundles, and a soundtrack and art book for deluxe editions.
