DaRmaZat ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN, described as an “ultra-violent science-fiction” action game, will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on February 11, 2026 for $49.99, developer Grasshopper Manufacture announced. The title will be self-published by Grasshopper Manufacture.
The game places players in the role of Romeo Stargazer, the protagonist of a third-person, single-player action adventure divided into multiple chapters. His journey shifts unpredictably between intense encounters and optional side missions, allowing players to set their own rhythm as the narrative unfolds.
ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN‘s combat emphasizes relentless carnage as Romeo alternates between swords and firearms to eliminate waves of enemies across space and time. By absorbing the blood of adversaries, Romeo can trigger his special attack, Bloody Summer, a devastating move capable of completely shifting the tide of battle. Weapons evolve throughout the story, opening the door to new configurations and upgrades as the threats escalate.
The narrative begins with the shattering of space-time itself, the consequence of a mysterious incident. On the edge of death, Romeo is revived through advanced technology and recruited into the FBI’s Space-Time Police as a special agent. As he travels across the cosmos to apprehend criminals exploiting the fractured timeline, he also searches for answers regarding his missing girlfriend Juliet. Romeo soon discovers that her disappearance and the collapse of space-time may be deeply connected. Wearing the Deadgear mask, he pushes toward the farthest reaches of existence, where the truth—and his fate—awaits.
