DaRmaZat Channel37 will launch its oceanic survival first-person shooter The Last Caretaker in Early Access on November 6 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A full release is planned for consoles and PC at a later date, with additional content and refinements expected after at least 12 months in development.
The Early Access version offers a complete survival experience with resource management, crafting, recycling, and expansive ocean exploration. Players take on the role of a lone caretaker machine reawakened after centuries to safeguard humanity’s last hope—the Seed Vaults. By sailing across flooded ruins, scavenging remnants of lost technology, and activating the Lazarus Complex, the caretaker must work to launch humanity’s future to the stars.
While the world appears desolate, threats remain in the form of rogue machines, violent storms, and dwindling supplies. Blending survival gameplay with exploration and narrative mystery, The Last Caretaker challenges players to balance survival with the responsibility of nurturing the last human seeds and questioning the meaning of humanity itself.
