DaRmaZat The whimsical action-adventure Spindle is set to launch on October 13 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Developed by Wobble Ghost and published by Deck13 Spotlight, the pixel-art indie invites players to step into the role of Dengel, a small Grim Reaper accompanied by his loyal pig companion, on a quest to restore balance to a world where death has mysteriously stopped.
At Gamescom, Spindle drew long lines of eager players wanting to try the Zelda-inspired experience for themselves. Its new release date trailer highlights the obstacles awaiting Death and Pig, from labyrinthine dungeons to cunning foes and surreal encounters. With a mix of heartfelt storytelling and fast-paced combat, the game explores grief and healing through its lovingly handcrafted pixel world.
Born from community feedback, the project has grown into more than a retro-inspired adventure. It invites players to face loss with compassion while navigating twisting dungeons, charming villages, and eerie landscapes. A demo is already available on Steam, offering a first taste of its emotional and challenging journey ahead of its full release.
