Shattered Realms, a Dark Fantasy Roguelite ARPG, Heads to Steam Early Access in Q1 2027

Dark fantasy roguelite ARPG Shattered Realms, developed by US-based indie team Spellbound Studios, is launching into Steam Early Access in Q1 2027, accompanied by a public playable demo released today on Steam.

Set in the ruins of Aetherhold after a betrayal tears the world apart, the game follows the surviving Guardians as they fight through procedurally generated realms, take on bosses, and gather resources to restore the world. Combat combines Guardian class abilities with elemental and physical magic, while each run lets you tweak abilities and deal with randomized encounters.

Between runs, you can unlock new gear, stats, and crafting recipes, while Challenge Trees let you make each realm more difficult. The new demo includes the Berserker and Sorceress classes, a full run through the Death Realm, early World Tree progression, and the game’s crafting system.
