French studio Opus Major has officially unveiled its debut title, MAJJAM, a cooperative musical adventure where players join forces to push back the darkness using the power of sound. Set in a vibrant open world and built around spontaneous, real-time music creation, MAJJAM offers a fresh take on multiplayer storytelling—where every note carries meaning and melody becomes a weapon.

In MAJJAM, players face off against Kodé, a silent force that devours life, color, and even sound itself. As they explore the world, they must use musical powers to repel this growing threat, revive lost regions, and unlock ancient secrets. The game is not a rhythm title, and no musical skill is required; instead, players jam together in real time using self-harmonizing technology that ensures every session feels fluid and connected, even online.
MAJJAM transforms every action into rhythm and sound, creating a world that responds dynamically to the players’ performances. Lights pulse, environments shift, and the soundtrack builds as groups explore, solve environmental puzzles, and tackle cooperative challenges together.
Opus Major also confirmed that a limited playable alpha is planned for 2025. More details on the game’s universe and systems will be revealed in the months ahead.
MAJJAM can now be wishlisted on Steam.
