Valor Mortis Releases Extended Gameplay Overview Trailer and Unveils Voice Cast

First-person Soulslike action title Valor Mortis, developed by One More Level and published by Lyrical Games, has released an extended gameplay overview trailer alongside its official voice cast reveal ahead of its October 13 launch.

Set in a plague-ridden, supernatural version of 19th-century Eastern Europe, the game follows resurrected Legionnaire William Dowsett through a dark take on Napoleon’s military campaign. As Dowsett, you fight with swords and firearms, parry incoming attacks, and wield unholy plague magic with two weapons at once.

The newly revealed voice talent includes Vincent Cassel as Napoleon Bonaparte, Jennifer English as The Shrike, James Alexander voicing protagonist William Dowsett, and Adam “Nergal” Darski as Captain Raphael.

Valor Mortis launches October 13, 2026, for $39.99 / €39.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
