DaRmaZat Panache Digital Games has published a fresh gameplay feature video for 1666: Amsterdam, providing an updated look at the upcoming action-adventure title from creative director Patrice Désilets, which is scheduled to launch in PC Early Access later this year on Steam and the Epic Games Store, with console versions planned for a later date.
The new footage showcases the central dynamic between the game’s two intertwined protagonists: Noa Brooklyn, heir to an ancient lineage tasked with hunting down mysterious entities called the Originals, and Aaron, a time-displaced soul trapped in the body of a cat. Together, the duo utilizes mystical tools and powers to uncover hidden truths across historical Europe.
First introduced alongside a free 30-minute playable prologue, 1666: Amsterdam explores a dark third-person narrative spanning three interconnected timelines: 1666, 1999, and the present day. The story centers on systemic power, ancient contracts sealed in 1333, and ritualistic choices.
