Simone Developer GPTRACK50 – a studio formed by veteran action game developers led by president Hiroyuki Kobayashi – has announced that 3D action RPG Stupid Never Dies will launch globally on October 21, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
Set in a monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, the single-player adventure puts players in control of Davy, a timid zombie living at the bottom of monster society. On a quest to bring Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life, Davy must descend into the dungeon, defeat enemies, steal their abilities, and customize his undead body with bizarre physical upgrades.
SEGA will serve as the worldwide co-publishing and distribution partner, with a new release date trailer showcasing Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers, a mysterious entity Davy encounters during his descent.
The game will be available in a Standard Edition ($49.99) and a Glorious Idiot Edition ($59.99), which includes the TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack featuring five DLC items that add visual effects and music remixes. Additionally, two pop-punk tracks – the opening theme Stupid Never Dies and ending theme Restless, Reckless, Never Die, Fearless – will release on major music streaming platforms on August 4.
