Simone Quebec-based developer Vertex Zero and publisher Red Dunes Games have dropped a brand-new extended trailer for their upcoming sci-fi adventure, Silent Planet – Elegy of a Dying World.
Set in the year 2997, Silent Planet – Elegy of a Dying World is a gothic sci-fi metroidvania that puts you in the shoes of Apranik, a lone voyager traveling to the edge of space. Your mission revolves around locating an ancient artifact rumored to hold the secrets to the origin of life.
The gameplay blends deep character progression with psychokinetic combat and heavy exploration, tasking you with navigating the ruins of a fading world to uncover forbidden lore before the stars completely dim.
Silent Planet‘s latest footage provides a deeper look into the game’s grim future, showcasing its atmospheric environments, cosmic horror elements, and narrative mysteries. The title is set to launch via Steam, with a release date yet to be announced.
