Cryorbis Studio has announced that the release of Lirai: Heir of Darkness has been pushed back to April 2027. In a sincere apology to the community, the developer explained that the project has grown significantly more demanding and larger in scope than originally anticipated.

Following a thorough internal review, the team decided that a delay was necessary to avoid compromising the game’s atmosphere, storytelling, and technical stability. The studio emphasized their commitment to quality, stating that they refuse to release an unfinished product simply to meet a deadline, and will use the additional time to refine the experience.
Developed and published by Cryorbis Studio, Lirai: Heir of Darkness is a third-person action game that follows Brian, a knight fighting to protect humanity in a post-apocalyptic world infested with demons and zombies. The gameplay focuses on deliberate combat where timing and positioning are key, alongside environmental puzzles and challenging boss fights that demand strategic thinking. Brian can utilize unique combat transformations to unlock new abilities, allowing for varied playstyles across a dark fantasy setting that blends horror elements with deep, atmospheric storytelling.
While the full release for Lirai: Heir of Darkness has now been pushed back to April 2027, a playable demo remains available on Steam.
