Open-World Survival Adventure Smalland: Survive the Wilds Announced for Nintendo Switch 2

The open-world survival adventure Smalland: Survive the Wilds is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in Spring 2026. Publisher Maximum Entertainment confirmed that the Nintendo platform will receive the full experience, including every update previously released on other platforms.

Set within a beautifully realized miniature world, Smalland: Survive the Wilds places adventurers in the role of the Smallfolk, a tiny civilization surviving among towering grass, massive insects, and natural landscapes that appear enormous from their perspective. Everyday elements such as trees, stones, and roads become vast environments to navigate while searching for resources and safe places to settle.

Exploration plays a major role in this wilderness adventure. The world features diverse biomes where towering trees can be climbed like skyscrapers and deep cracks in roads resemble massive caverns. Throughout the journey, tools and equipment can be crafted to improve survivability, while specialized armor sets offer protection against harsh conditions and grant unique abilities.

Creatures roaming the wilderness are not only threats but potential allies. From geckos to scorpions, many wild animals can be tamed and ridden, allowing faster traversal and new ways to approach exploration. Resources gathered across the world can also be refined and used to construct encampments, whether on the ground or high within the forest canopy.

Base building is further expanded through the ability to claim a Great Tree, enabling the creation of a mobile settlement that can travel between worlds. Hidden characters scattered throughout the land also provide pieces of ancient lore, gradually revealing more about the mysterious wilderness and the civilization struggling to survive within it.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version will include all post-launch additions that have arrived on other platforms, including guild systems, creature stables, the expansive Underlands region, and additional content updates introduced after the original launch.

Adventures in Smalland: Survive the Wilds can be undertaken alone or together with up to nine additional companions in multiplayer, turning the miniature wilderness into a shared survival experience when the game arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 in Spring 2026.
