The atmospheric fantasy ARPG Lunarium is scheduled to launch for PC via Steam in May, according to developer Lunarium Game Studio.

Set within a poetic and mysterious universe, Lunarium follows Ave, a light-armored knight who joins forces with a mysterious traveler known as Lune. Together they embark on a journey to rescue a world on the brink of collapse, searching for the lost glow of the stars and forgotten memories while uncovering deeper cosmic truths along the way.
The setting revolves around a symbolic universe where fragile bubble worlds rise from the chaotic Sea of Chaos below, slowly drifting upward toward the distant Veil of Stars. These worlds are destined to eventually burst and fall back into the sea, creating an endless cycle of destruction and rebirth that shapes the fate of existence.
Throughout the adventure, Ave and Lune travel across a variety of haunting environments, from abandoned shrines and shattered kingdoms to churches hidden within dark mists. The world is filled with remnants of a forgotten past, and fragments of knowledge scattered across the journey gradually reveal the deeper narrative surrounding memory, identity, and the meaning behind the universe’s repeating cycles.
Combat emphasizes strategic action mechanics inspired by classic titles, encouraging precise timing and calculated decisions during battles. Parries and counters can shift the momentum of encounters, while Lune’s assistance introduces additional abilities and cooperative attacks that allow different combat approaches depending on the situation.
Progression comes through collecting “threads of hope” scattered throughout the world. These fragments strengthen the protagonists and unlock new skills and magical techniques, opening new strategies for overcoming the increasingly dangerous enemies encountered along the way.
Hand-crafted animations and carefully designed environments reinforce the game’s atmospheric tone, while the journey gradually leads toward confrontations with formidable adversaries guarding the path forward. As the adventure unfolds, the intertwining stories of its characters slowly uncover the deeper sorrow and determination shaping this fading world.
