The HD-2D action RPG The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales launches on June 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, bringing a brand-new fantasy adventure from Square Enix and Claytechworks to consoles and PC.

Set in a world where humanity clings to survival behind a powerful magical barrier, the game follows the adventurer Elliot and his fairy companion Faie. The Kingdom of Huther stands as the last refuge against surrounding beast tribes, but the discovery of mysterious ancient ruins pushes Elliot beyond the safety of its borders. What begins as a dangerous expedition soon becomes a journey that spans not only a vast continent, but a thousand years of intertwined history.
Exploration plays a central role as players carve new paths through an untamed land, uncover long-buried secrets, and piece together the forgotten past of the world. Combat blends fast-paced action with tactical depth, allowing players to strike directly while relying on Faie’s supportive fairy abilities to turn the tide of battle. The result is an accessible yet rewarding system that balances reflex-driven encounters with strategic decision-making.
Visually, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales combines detailed HD-2D environments with expressive character work, drawing on the stylistic legacy of modern pixel-art RPGs while presenting a more action-focused experience. The story centers on the growing bond between Elliot and Faie, gradually revealing how their fates are bound to the rise and fall of civilizations across centuries.
Pre-orders are now available in both a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition. All pre-orders include the Elliot’s Departure Pack, featuring exclusive equipment to support players early in their journey, while the Digital Deluxe Edition adds a bonus accessory pack for further customization.
