Point-and-click adventure game Earth Must Die will launch on January 27, 2026, for PC via Steam, publisher No More Robots and developer Size Five Games have announced. Alongside the release date confirmation, a new playable demo is now available. The game will be priced at £11.99/$15.99/€13.29, with a 25% launch discount available for a limited time.

In Earth Must Die, the story unfolds from the perspective of VValak Lizardtongue, the volatile ruler of the Tyrythian Empire, whose reign is interrupted when humans—referred to as “Terranoids”—seize control of his kingdom. What follows is a deliberately over-the-top tale of betrayal, ego, and revenge, framed as a mission to obliterate Earth itself and reclaim lost glory.
The game presents its narrative through a classic point-and-click structure inspired by 1990s adventure games, blending puzzle-solving with heavy doses of absurdist, profanity-laced humor. Conversations, interactions, and environmental storytelling drive the experience, with a strong emphasis on character-driven comedy and exaggerated monologues delivered by an ensemble cast described as British comedy talent.
While the tone is intentionally chaotic and self-aware, Earth Must Die is designed as a multi-hour narrative adventure that leans into nostalgia while updating the format with modern pacing and presentation. The newly released demo offers an early look at its humor, dialogue style, and point-and-click mechanics ahead of the full release later this month.
