Lovecraftian first-person adventure HYPNOS has been announced for consoles and PC via Steam, with a release planned for 2026, developer Redlock Studio revealed. Described as an exploration-driven experience set inside a surreal megastructure shaped by dream logic, the game places atmosphere, mystery, and narrative discovery at the center of its design.

Set within the Dreamlands, HYPNOS leads into the Nameless City, a vast and decaying settlement resting in the shadow of the Holy Mountain of Kadath. The story follows Choron, a wanderer weighed down by his past, as he searches for a faceless boy who appears throughout his dreams. This pursuit gradually pulls him deeper into a reality where the laws of the universe bend, and where gods, monarchs, and forgotten beings influence the fate of entire realms.
Exploration plays a central role in HYPNOS, with semi-open environments that encourage wandering, observation, and experimentation. The world reacts to interaction, allowing the material of dreams and the city itself to shift as veils are lifted and hidden truths revealed. Encounters with strange inhabitants are shaped through branched dialogue and player decisions, with choices influencing events and leading to different outcomes as the journey unfolds.
