Update – January 28, 2026: A demo of Star Trek: Voyager: Across the Unknown has now been announced for Nintendo Switch 2 as well, arriving in early February.

In Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown, players take command of the iconic U.S.S. Voyager, navigating the Delta Quadrant after the ship is forcefully displaced into unknown territory. Every decision matters, from repairing damaged systems and reconstructing crew quarters to managing energy, life support, and research facilities. Players must balance survival with exploration, making strategic choices that affect both the ship and its crew. The game features roguelike elements, meaning each run presents new situations, and even familiar crew members may meet unexpected fates depending on player actions.
The game allows players to explore the Delta Quadrant, scanning celestial bodies for valuable resources, discovering points of interest, and charting a course through hazards and opportunities. Away missions require careful crew selection, using individual talents to complete objectives while minimizing risk. Ship combat also demands strategic deployment of crew skills to maximize effectiveness, whether engaging in offensive or defensive maneuvers against hostile forces.
Pre-orders are available in two editions. The Standard Edition includes the base game at $39.99/£34.99/ €39.99/¥5,940, while the Deluxe Edition costs $49.99/£44.99/€49.99/ ¥7,040 and includes five additional missions, two recruitable heroes, and three new technologies. The demo offers a hands-on experience of the ship management, exploration, and decision-making systems, giving players a preview of the full game before launch.
